Effective conservation of species require up-to-date and reliable information on the species diversity, abundance and the threats they face. This knowledge is scarce for amphibians and reptiles, especially in the Asian region. We at Aaranya are continuously investing our resources in trying to fill some of these knowledge gaps related to herpetofauna in the areas we work.
